Momentology Manifesto

In order to properly build anything you must have a plan. In order to get to a destination you must have a roadmap. Zig Ziglar once said “if you wait for all the lights to turn green before starting your journey, you’ll never leave the driveway”. You must understand that building a successful career, business, or life for yourself is no different. If you are reading this you are in search of something more. You are in search of the road to success, but no one told you that you are already on it. Look up, look around, and notice where you are right at this moment. That is Momentology. It is the study and practice of operating in the now, succeeding from where you are, with what you have, right now. In my book, “The Momentology Method: Stop Waiting, Start Winning”, I describe how I came to realize I was all I ever needed to win, and what you can do TODAY to see success in your life NOW. Not in ten years, not when you finish your degree, not when the kids go to college. Today is the day.

The new goal is to recommit every day to forging ahead in a positive direction. That is the most difficult part of the deal. You CAN do whatever you want to. You CAN achieve great things. You CAN live a phenomenal life. All you have to do is recommit yourself to greatness (in small doses) every single day for the rest of your life. Easy? No. Possible? You. Have. No. Idea.

You must become what I call a momentologist. You will study, observe, and appreciate the present. Jim Rohn said, “success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practiced every day”. I have found my calling, my cause, my “why”. I will endeavor to share all that I have found to be true about success, what it REALLY means, why if you are looking to be successful, you already are and how to recognize and leverage your brilliance. It starts with you. In this moment, every moment, moment-by-moment, you will observe your situation. You will focus on the now and become aware of your actions, thoughts, and feelings. This is not an easy journey, but it is well worth your time. I’ll explain how to begin to peel back the layers to prepare you to meet yourself through awareness, gratitude, and expectancy. It is necessary to reach that deeper part of yourself that holds the truths that you’ve been hiding from you. It’s like a fuzzy dream that you try to hold on to. The harder you try, the fuzzier it gets. It will begin to unfold…you just have to wake up.

Awareness is the first step to fully practicing and winning with the Momentology Method. Gratitude is the second pillar and the underpinning to having all that makes you a success. The last pillar is expectance. What you focus on expands. Know that everything is created twice. Once in the mind, and again in the manifestation of that thought into reality. Remember whether or not you expect to fail, you are correct!
